Financial Protection & ATOL Information

Luxe Getaways provides financial protection in accordance with UK regulations depending on the type of booking arranged.

The applicable protection will be confirmed at the time of booking and detailed on your booking confirmation and ATOL Certificate where relevant.

1. ATOL Protection – Supplier Packages

Where your booking constitutes a Package Holiday protected under a Supplier’s Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (ATOL):

• Financial protection is provided by the Supplier.
• An ATOL Certificate will be issued in the Supplier’s name.
• In the event of the Supplier’s insolvency, you will be protected in accordance with ATOL regulations.

Full details of protection will be provided at the time of booking.

2. ATOL Protection – Dynamic Packages

Where Luxe Getaways creates a dynamically packaged holiday (for example, combining flights and accommodation separately), financial protection is provided under an ATOL licence held via our host agency, in these circumstances:

• An ATOL Certificate will be issued upon confirmation of your booking.
• Financial protection applies in accordance with ATOL regulations administered by the UK Civil Aviation Authority.
   

3. Flight-Only Bookings

For flight-only bookings:

• Financial protection may not apply unless the booking qualifies as a Package Holiday.
• Airline Conditions of Carriage apply.

You will be informed at time of booking whether ATOL protection applies.

4. Accommodation-Only Bookings

Accommodation-only bookings do not constitute a Package Holiday unless explicitly confirmed.

ATOL protection does not apply to standalone accommodation bookings.

5. What ATOL Protection Covers

Where applicable, ATOL protection ensures that:

• Your money is protected in the event of insolvency of the ATOL holder.
• If you are abroad, arrangements will be made for repatriation where required.

ATOL protection does not cover:

• Travel insurance claims
• Airline operational delays
• Supplier performance issues unrelated to insolvency
   

6. Confirmation of Protection

Your booking documentation will clearly state:

• Whether ATOL protection applies
• The name of the ATOL holder
• The ATOL Certificate where required

Luxe Getaways Ltd is an Accredited Body Member of Independent Travel Experts, part of The Travel Network Group. Independent Travel Experts holds Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (ATOL) number T7400.

When booking ATOL-protected flight-inclusive holidays, financial protection is provided under ATOL T7400. An ATOL Certificate will be issued where applicable.

ATOL protection does not apply to all travel services offered. The protection applicable to your booking will be confirmed prior to booking. If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate, your booking will not be ATOL protected.
